Snap Budget stores all your financial data — transactions, balances, categories, notes, and debts — exclusively on your device using local storage. Nothing is ever uploaded to our servers or shared with any third party.
We use anonymous, aggregated analytics (via PostHog) to understand which features are used most. This data contains no financial information, no names, and no identifiers that can be linked back to you. It helps us improve the app.
The free version of Snap Budget displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to show relevant ads in accordance with Google's privacy policy. You can opt out at any time in your Android settings under Privacy → Ads. Premium users see no ads whatsoever.
Because your data is stored locally on your device, we cannot recover it if your device is lost, damaged, or reset. We strongly recommend using the built-in Backup & Restore feature regularly to keep your data safe.
Snap Budget is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
